Minutes of the November 2004 Supervisors' MeetingThe Silver Lake Township Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, November 1, 2004 at the Silver Lake Township Building. Terrence Dugan called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and everyone saluted the Flag. The minutes of the October meeting were read approved. The Treasurer’s report was read, approved and held for audit on motion made by Tom Swan and seconded by Terry Dugan. Public Comment: A resident asked if a letter could be sent to various groups in the township and ask them to address the subject of missing road signs and how expensive it is to replace them. Terry Dugan explained that the storm from the remnants of Hurricane Ivan has just about depleted the funds in the general account. Williams Oil and Propane was awarded the bid for diesel, gasoline and heating oil. Rounds Propane was awarded the bid for the propane. Sergeant Tim Burgh gave the police report. There were 25 incidents for the month of October. Tom Swan gave the road report. Snowhollow, Russell and Brown Roads have been very costly to repair after the storm. Two Assessment permits were issued in the month of October. Terry Dugan made a motion to pay the bills as submitted, Tom Swan seconded, approved. As no further business was presented, Terry Dugan made a motion to adjourn the meeting Tom Swan seconded, approved.
