The Silver Lake Township Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, December 6, 2004 at the Silver Lake Township building. Terrence Dugan called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and everyone saluted the Flag.

The minutes of the November meeting were read and approved. The Treasurer’s report was read, approved and held for audit on motion made on Tom Swan and seconded by Terry Dugan.

There were no public comments.

Terry Dugan read a resolution from DEP for New Land Development for a septic system for Louis and Christine Harasymczuk land. Tom Swan made a motion to pass the resolution, Terry Dugan seconded, approved.

Terry Dugan read a resolution to amend the 537 Plan. This amendment will take Silver Lake (body of water) out of the current 537 Plan. The Silver Lake sewage project was dropped due to construction costs. This resolution rescinds Township Resolution No. 01-02 adopted on September 4, 2001. Tom Swan made a motion to pass the Resolution for Plan Revision as read, Terry Dugan seconded, approved. This resolution still has to be approved by DEP.

Terry Dugan made a motion to extend our line of credit loan with Peoples National Bank Tom Swan seconded, approved. The amount of the line of credit is $50,000.

Sergeant Tim Burgh gave the police report. There were 22 incidents for the month of November.

Tom Swan gave the road report. FEMA will not be able to review our sites until sometime in January. The salt building has been completed. The equipment is ready for winter.

Terry Dugan presented the budget for 2005. The milage for 2005 will be 6.86 for General Fund which is a .5 mil increase, Equipment Fund remains at 1.0, Fire Fund remains at 1.0 and Building Fund remains at .4. The budget will be adopted at a Special Meeting to be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 8:30 am.

Sandy Payne made a motion to pay the bills as submitted, Terry Dugan seconded, approved. As no further business was presented, Terry Dugan made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Tom Swan seconded, approved.

Special Budget Meeting

The Silver Lake Township Supervisors held a Special Meeting on Wednesday, December 29, 2004.

Terry Dugan called the meeting to order at 8:30 am and everyone saluted the Flag.

Terry Dugan made a motion to approved the 2005 budget as presented at the December 6, 2004 regular meeting, Tom Swan seconded approved.

Terry Dugan read a resolution to extend the loan dated January 24, 1994 with Pennstar Bank for six months. This will be the final payment on the loan. Tom Swan seconded, approved.

As no further business was presented, Terry Dugan made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Tom Swan seconded.
