Minutes of the March 2005 Supervisors' MeetingThe Silver Lake Township Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, March 7, 2005 at the Silver Lake Township building. Thomas Swan called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and everyone saluted the Flag.Tom Swan made a motion to accept the minutes as read, Sandy Payne seconded, approved. The Treasurer’s report was read, approved and held for audit on a motion made by Tom Swan and seconded by Sandy Payne. Public Comment: A resident asked if PennDOT was still planning on paving 4002 from Murphy’s Corners to Choconut. Tom Swan said that as far as he knew the project was still on the schedule. Chief Michael Hornak gave the police report. There were 16 reportable incidents for the month of February. Tom Swan gave the road report. There are two trucks down. New truck is in operation. Bids for cinders, sluice pipes and road materials were not advertised. The Township will piggyback the road materials with the State. Cinders and sluice pipes will be phone quotes. No building permits were issued during the month of February. Tom Swan made a motion to pay the bills as submitted, Sandy Payne seconded,
approved. As no further business was presented, Tom Swan made a motion to
adjourn the meeting.
