The Silver Lake Township Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at the Silver Lake Township building. Terry Dugan called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and everyone saluted the Flag.

Tom Swan made a motion to accept the minutes as read, Terry Dugan seconded, approved. The Treasurer’s report was read, approved and held for audit on a motion made by Tom Swan and seconded by Terry Dugan.

Public Comment: Sandy Chambers said the ceremony for the building dedication and the road renaming was very nice.

Terry Dugan read a resolution regarding septic for recreational cabins. This says that the municipality will receive payment with the application and the owner must sign an affidavit stating that the cabin will only be used for recreational purposes. Terry Dugan made a motion to pass the resolution, Tom Swan seconded, approved.

In the Police Chief’s absence, Terry Dugan read the police report with 17 reportable incidents for the month of August.

Tom Swan gave the road report. Trying to finish up township roads. The replacement truck has been ordered but will not be ready until probably February.

No Assessment Permits were issued during the month of August.

Tom Swan made a motion to pay the bills as submitted, Terry Dugan seconded, approved.

As no further business was presented, Terry Dugan made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
