The Silver Lake Township Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, October 2, 2006 at the Silver Lake Township building. Terry Dugan called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and everyone saluted the Flag.

Terry Dugan made a motion to accept the minutes as read, Sandy Payne seconded, approved. The Treasurer’s report was read, approved and held for audit on a motion made by Terry Dugan and seconded by Sandy Payne.

Public Comment: It was asked why there was a traffic counter on SR 4002.
Sandy Payne made a motion to advertise for fuel bids, Terry Dugan seconded. The bids will be opened at the next meeting.

Chief Michael Hornak gave the police report with 24 reportable incidents for the month of September. There has been county-wide terrorist training as well as school shooting training.

Two Assessment Permits were issued in September.

Sandy Payne made a motion to pay the bills as submitted, Terry Dugan seconded, approved.

As no further business was presented, Terry Dugan made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
