The Silver Lake Township Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the Silver Lake Township Building.  Tom Swan called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and everyone saluted the Flag.

Tom Swan made a motion to accept the minutes as read, Terry Dugan seconded, approved.  The Treasurer’s report was read and held for audit on a motion made by Tom Swan and seconded by Terry Dugan.

Public Comment:  It was asked what the status was on zoning.  Tom Swan explained there would be a couple more public meetings scheduled and hopefully by the first of 2008 it would be ready. 

Chief Michael Hornak gave the police report with 50 reportable incidents for the month of August.

Tom Swan gave the road report. Salt brine and water is being spread on the roads but it is so dry nothing is working on keeping the dust down.  Potholes are being graded. 

One assessment permit was issued in August.

Tom Swan made a motion to pay the bills as submitted, Terry Dugan seconded, approved.  As no further business was presented, Tom Swan made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
