The Silver Lake Township Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, July 6, 2009 at the Silver Lake Township building. Terry Dugan called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and everyone saluted the Flag. Tom Swan made a motion to accept the minutes as read, Terry Dugan seconded, approved.  The Treasurer report was read and held for audit on a motion made by Tom Swan and seconded by Terry Dugan.

Public Comment:  A resident on Arrowhead Lake Road, Nancy Brown, spoke with concerns about dust control.

Chief Michael Hornak gave the police report with 30 reportable incidents for the month of June.

Tom Swan gave the road report.  Rain has slowed the maintenance down. As soon as the roads are done, ditches will be cleaned.  The stone and oil roads will resurfaced through the PennDot agility program.  In exchange, the township is mowing along the state roads.

Two assessment permits were issued in June.

Tom Swan made a motion to pay the bills as submitted, Terry Dugan seconded, approved.  As no further business was presented Terry Dugan adjourned the meeting.
