The Silver Lake Township Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Silver Lake Township building. Tom Swan called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and everyone saluted the Flag. Tom Swan made a motion to accept the minutes as read, Sandy Payne seconded, approved.  The Treasurer report was read and held for audit on a motion made by Tom Swan and seconded by Sandy Payne.

The 2010 budget has been presented and advertised.  Tom Swan made a motion to adopt the budget as presented, Sandy Payne seconded, approved.

Chief Burgh gave the police report with 30 reportable incidents in Silver Lake Township for the month of November. 

Tom Swan gave the road report.  The equipment is ready for the winter. A gate has been installed on the salt building.  In prior years there have been problems with individuals backing their trucks in and loading the salt.   There is a problem on Barney Road with a resident dumping leafs in the ditch.  Tom said the township would not clean them out. 

Tom Swan made a motion to pay the bills as submitted, Sandy Payne seconded, approved.  As no further business was presented Tom Swan adjourned the meeting.
